Liz joined M&T Bank and the ProfitLink Team via the Executive Associate Program in 2019, after having completed a Summer Executive Associate internship with the ProfitLink Team the prior year. Since 2020, she has led the ProfitLink Program’s build and communications efforts, owning stakeholder interviews, capability demonstrations, reporting/data requirements, and reporting/data testing & validation. ProfitLink is M&T’s future-state performance measurement ecosystem, which connects and aggregates the Bank’s financial and operational customer-, account-, and transaction-level data into new business insights capabilities for a wide range of personas, including front-line sales teams, customer segment and journey teams, product managers, line of business managers, and finance partners. In addition to her ProfitLink responsibilities, Liz has played pivotal roles on the 2019 and 2020 Message to Shareholders teams and the Finance Division’s Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging Council. Liz holds J.D. and M.B.A. Degrees from Duke University, a Master of Accounting degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a B.A. degree in Television, Radio & Film; Political Science; and Psychology from Syracuse University. She has passed both the New York State Bar Exam and the Uniform CPA Exam. Her pre-M&T work experience includes graduate internships in mergers & acquisitions investment banking and law, in-house intellectual property paralegal work, and various research & communications roles in the government & politics world. A graduate of the Greater Watertown-North Country Chamber of Commerce’s Jefferson Leadership Institute, Liz has served in officer and/or committee chair roles on the boards of the Thompson Park Conservancy; the Resolution Center of Jefferson & Lewis Counties; the American Association of University Women’s Jefferson County, NY branch; and the Jefferson Leadership Institute Scholarship-Mentorship Program. She belonged to the Watertown Evening Rotary Club and sang in Northern Blend Chorus. During her graduate school years, Liz led Duke Law’s Off the Record A Cappella Group, volunteered as a student-attorney in Duke Law’s Start-Up Ventures Clinic and as a student-preparer in UNC’s Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Clinic, and served in leadership positions on the Duke University Student Alumni Board, Duke Law’s Alumni & Development Student-Faculty Committee and Business Law Society, and Fuqua’s Fuquavision skit club.
