Project:- Maintenance of the 2nd Hooghly bridge (Vidyasagar setu)- 152 stay cables – 16 vertical cables located at expansion joints to counter balance the deck uplift- Replacement of the 16 vertical cables (30 m long) in confined space. - Replacement of the 14 stay cables (from 80 to 210 m long)- All works occur with live traffic.Coordination with Engineering Department, Accredited & customer representative to define the most suitable solution and get it approved before starting works on site..Methods: - Management of design team: Drafters, Methods Engineers, Quality Engineers.- Definition of the Methods at site level, considering safety of the teams, works sequence.- Apply highest Safety and Quality of Vinci group standards with local usual practices.Procurement: - Definition of the specifications, considering contract provisions and site requirements- Design optimization and negotiations with supplier, to fit with allocated budget.- Suppliers follow up to comply with contract instructions and site planning.Project Quality:- Quality Assurance: Definition of Quality Standards for all suppliers. Technical documentation for customer submission. - Quality Control: Site level controls to perform during construction.
