Commenced as an Electrical Trades Assistant before completing an apprenticeship as an Electrical Mechanic. Conducted all aspects of Electrical testing and installations in the domestic, commercial, mining and rail sectors. Supervised, trained and mentored apprentices and ‘work experience’ students to ensure all tasks were completed in a safe, timely, quality assured manner. Tested and tagged appliances and equipment, completed wiring of sandblasters, dust collectors and screens. Conducted fault finding, repairs and maintenance to three phase generators.
