The Sustainable Energy Initiative (SEI) is a student led committee allotted 5 dollars from each student's tuition known as the "Green Fee" which is used for sustainability and environmentally conscious projects. Project proposals are presented by students, faculty, or staff and then voted on by the committee. As the PR representative, I worked on branding, networking, and outreach for the SEI which utilized my social skills and my knowledge of environmental science. By monitoring all of our social media sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Snapchat), I promoted environmental programs on campus which reached hundreds within the community. The position required daily posting of excellent and engaging content and making sure the information was consistent throughout.
