o Responsible for the implementation of the health and safety, environmental policies and the occupational health, safety and environmental system. o Responsible for the monitoring of performance standards and site activities are in accordance with group policies. o Ensure method statement and risk assessment for all work activities are reviewed and in place prior to work commencing. o Ensure that the traffic management and fire plans are appropriate to the level of risk and in line with all site activities. o Provide sub-contractors with suitable supervision and guidance with regular meetings and constant monitoring. o Appointed person on site overseeing various cranes, lifting machinery and lifting accessories that are current on site. o Regular reviews of lifting plans and crane co-ordination meetings are held. o Regular meetings are held with sub-contractors to monitor progress and production on site.o Meetings are held with various consultants, design teams and other external bodies to ensure sufficient information is available for the progress of the development.o Responsible for all pre-concrete inspections, quality management, technical support and the overseeing of the entire site activities.o Scheduling of materials and the requisition of materials from group buyers.o Responsible for the co-ordination of all trades and providing guidance and problem solving.o Responsible for overseeing all civil works, infrastructure, drainage, utility services, roads and all associated building works.
