I am an independent, professional choreographer/performer with many years of experience working with people of all ages and abilities, from beginners to professionals, exploring our experience of movement in daily life as well as onstage. http://www.quicksilverdance.wordpress.comMy artistic journey has taken me from New York to the Northwest, Asia, and Europe where I have choreographed and performed group, solo and site-specific work, and taught technique, improvisation, composition and movement for actors. This season (2016-2017), my choreography has been presented by Movement Research at the Judson Church, DraftWork at Danspace Project, The Construction Company’s Sunday Series at University Settlement and 92Y’s celebration of 30 Years of Fridays at Noon.As a Wellness Movement Specialist my teaching of group classes and private sessions --in a variety of academic, clinical and community settings--is informed by extensive study of several Eastern as well as Western approaches to fitness and wellness. I enjoy creating curriculum for the particular needs of a group or individual as well as teaching Pilates Mat, Prenatal/Postpartum Fitness, Chi Kung/Qi Gong and Experiential Anatomy.
