Started my professional career in September 1978 when I joined Indian Express at Chandigarh. After a long stint of more than 8 years, I switched over to Hindustan Times on 1st January 1987. Subsequently I was made in-charge of the HT Hyderabad office. After a brief stint at Hyderabad I came back to Chandigarh in 1988 and was the Operations Chief of an INS Accredited Advertising Agency. I joined Dainik Jagran in 1990 and then became the Regional Head with Punjab Kesari in 1992. I switched over to Divya Himachal in 1997 and was their Director-Marketing. I played key role in the launch strategy of the publication and Divya Himachal was a force even before the first issue came out. Divya Himachal carved a niche for itself because of the excellent marketing strategy.I resigned my job with Divya Himachal in 1999 to set up my own media marketing company in the name and style of Quiksel Media Services. Soon we diversified into PR in the name and style of QuikRelations and today QuikRelations Private Limited (QRPL) is the flagship company in the group portfolio.QuikRelations Pvt. Ltd. has pan-India operations and has reach in more than 200 cities across India.I was the first editor with samachar4media, an exchange4media initiative, at the time of its launch and moderated a number of media conclaves wherein I shared dais with senior most editors and media owners.I am also a regular contributor to many of the Hindi dailies and a many of the Hindi dailies carry my articles at their edit pages regularly.
