In my current role of Senior Operations Specialist, I primarily conduct enhanced due diligence investigations that involve complex cross-border tax repatriations of wealth portfolios, thereby making use of my extensive AML/CTF/KYC knowledge as well as my language skills. Additionally, due to my past experience as Quality Checker and trainer, I lead onboarding sessions and dedicated AML training workshops for new joiners and/or experienced analysts who are eager to develop their knowledge and competences.

As an Operations Specialist and Quality Checker, I support a team of (senior) analysts as part of an ongoing KYC/AML projects covering multiple jurisdictions. As a Quality Checker, I primarily conduct checks of analysts' client due diligence reviews, lead training sessions for new joiners, mentor junior analysts and provide regular process/subject matter support. As an AML Analyst, I have conducted onboarding and enhanced due diligence reviews and risk-based assessments of clients (according to policies and procedures related to fraud prevention, anti-money laundering, combatting terrorism, sanctions, adverse media, politically exposed persons, and client due diligence). I have experience with gathering and analysing internal and external source documentation, conducting onboarding reviews, periodic monitoring, event-driven reviews and client/counterparty screening.

I was the point of contact between technical and editorial staffs during the platform's development process and also lead as well as mentored a team of staff writers.

Visegrad Insight is an English-language publication of the Res Publica foundation based in Warsaw. It is the main platform of debate and analysis on Central Europe, that generates future policy directions for Europe from the region. As Managing Editor I oversaw the magazine's day-to-day editorial work, commission pieces, write contributions and work on special reports. Apart from this, I co-hosted the weekly Visegrad Insight Podcast, prepared the newsletters and supported the organisation of meetings and other policy-related events.

I supported the development of research projects regarding the role of civil society and international organisations in documenting human rights violations during the armed conflict in Ukraine (2014-2019). This was part of the implementation of a larger project related to "Actions aimed at ensuring respect for human rights in the zone of armed conflict and along the demarcation line in the Donbass". I focused on relevant international (criminal, humanitarian and human rights) law as well as applicable sanctions regimes. In terms of project outputs, I co-authored an extensive report on monitoring activities related to the conflict of Eastern Ukraine and the lessons learned after many years of impunity for grave crimes. In addition, I wrote short analytical papers, interviewed key actors and civil society organisations working on the ground and helped preparing narrative reports for project stakeholders and international donor organisations.

Between 2016 and 2020 I was active as a freelance reviewer (mostly in the fields of jazz, soul, singer-songwriter, minimalism and independent labels) and also conducted interviews with artists.

As co-founder, I was part of the executive editorial team (together with the editor-in-chief) that managed the daily affairs of the website. Initially, I focused on the recruitment of new writers and the strategic management of the magazine while writing music reviews and conducting interviews with artists.

Residence at the History Department of Graduate Institute in Geneva, for the purpose of archival research on the League of Nations. I make use of the facilities offered at the Institute as well as the UN Library to work on the case material for my PhD dissertation. Acting supervisor during my residency is Professor Davide Rodogno, Head of the Department of International History.

I worked for two years as Research Assistant and subsequently for six months as Associated Researcher at the Geremek Chair. Undertook research activities including publications; participation in conferences; contribution to projects and the organization of study trips, conferences and seminars. I taught introductory course, tutorials and seminars (on 20th century European history) to post-graduate students with different areas of expertise. Moreover, I provided academic and organizational support for the Chair-holder of the Geremek Chair, as well as supported students undertaking a thesis related to recent European history.
