The German-Southeast Asian Center of Excellence for Public Policy and Good Governance (CPG) is a joint academic institute and think tank established by the German universities of Frankfurt and Münster in collaboration with Thammasat University in Bangkok. Founded in 2009 as part of the German federal government’s prestigious Excellence Initiative, CPG is one of four Centers of Excellence created with distinct missions in Europe, Latin America, and Asia, funded by the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
