Acting on an entrepreneurial urge, my brother and I launched a landscaping business as teenagers, offering all the typical services to our neighbors. Services included mowing, weeding, mulching, and general lawn care. I’ve recently completed my summer break between semesters with this work. Returning to The University of Tennessee, Knoxville as a Junior, I am an accounting major with a concentration in finance anticipating graduation in May 2026. With family influence, I’ve had an interest in finance and investing for a long time and that caused my current desire to learn more about the industry. Additionally, my entrepreneurial endeavor of starting and running my landscaping service has guided me in the development of time management skills, employee communication, and financial operations.As an active member of my fraternity’s executive board, I have had the opportunity to collaborate and make strategic decisions in the best interest of our 261 members. Upon earning my CPA, I plan to enter the fields of investment accounting or financial advising.
