I am an operations executive with over 29 years of driving organizational performance through strategic alignment and execution of supply chain operations vital to the cost reduction and growth of a company. My long-time passion for transportation and logistics, combined with my sales operations experience, have given me a unique, and full scope perspective on operations leadership. My long and fruitful relationship with Sunkist began back in 1995 when I came aboard as a transportation operations analyst. Over the next several years, I gained hands on experience as an analyst and senior analyst, learning the ins and outs of the logistical needs of our company operating out of the California market.From 2000-2009, I served as manager of Transportation operations, putting my years of analysis, and natural leadership skills to the test. I successfully managed the forward distribution program to northeast markets to include logistics and inventory turnover. More importantly, I created a profitable value-added service by using our excess contract equipment for non-Sunkist products. After this, I proved I could take on more strategic capabilities, adding sales operations to my senior management toolbox, before eventually rising to Director of Sales Operations & Transportation, where I have been since 2011.I feel my role has given me an end-to-end perspective on operations. My responsibilities range from leading and directing sales support departments, processing claims and meeting customer objectives, in addition to meticulously and creatively providing solutions to logistical problems we may face. To meet the needs of a multifaceted position requires balancing priorities, collaborating across departments, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. These are all qualities I posse and aspire to maintain every day with my teams.
