I am lucky enough to lead an incredible marketing team for an organization committed to providing vital supports to people with disabilities and those who care for them. We celebrate the achievements of our program participants as they utilize Easterseals NJ social services to pursue their goals. Together, we are changing the way the world views and defines disability.

I oversee the creation of video, written, photo, and digital content at Easterseals New Jersey. Through these mediums I share the stories of success people with disabilities and special needs are experiencing with the support of our programs. These stories are used to promote the organization as a whole and help to change the way the world views and defines disability.

Responsible for providing overall support in a wide-variety of functions, primarily the creation and distribution of all internal and external communications. Creating video, photo, and written content, I promote and represent Easterseals New Jersey, its mission, and values at all times setting a standard of excellence for best practices. Ensure the delivery of outstanding and highly responsive internal and external customer service with a high degree of flexibility and creativity.

I oversaw the performing arts and creative writing disciplines for a fine arts program for people with medically complex developmental disabilities.In this position, I accomplished the following:- Managed my team of artist facilitators to maintain a level of excellence in programming for the Drama, Dance, and Creative Writing disciplines - Develop, seek funding for, and launch a vocational program for artists with disabilities that includes prevocational training for school transition programs, post-graduate vocational training, supported employment, and direct to consumer sales through organized storefronts and an Ecommerce website.- Producing and/or directing all live stage and video productions for the Arts Access Program's various art exhibitions and live performances.- Shoot, edit, and/or produce all video projects and ensure that they are uploaded and distributed as web content to all appropriate consumers.- Archive, transcode, and upload all media project and footage- Assist with the writing, budgeting and editing of grant proposals. - Consulting with the leadership at Matheny and fellow Arts Access employees to identify best practices to expand and strengthen our organization.- Train new staff members in best practices- Network and build relationships with outside organizations that share a similar goal as Matheny.
