Received B.A in Economics in 2008 and Masters in Business Economics in 2010 from Delhi University , India, I am currently working as an Associate Fellow in the Green Growth and Resources Efficiency Division in TERI. I am also a member of the fiscal instruments research committee of the Green Growth Knowledge Platform (GGKP). My areas of research include policy analysis and economic research on green growth , green budgeting , energy sector and macro-economic environment . I have been the editor of TERI’s flagship publication, TEDDY Energy & Environment Data Directory & Yearbook (TEDDY 2011/12 , TEDDY 2012/13 & TEDDY 2013/14) brought out annually by TERI for three consecutive years. I have considerable expertise in the preparation of energy balances for India and states as well. I was also Co-Principal Investigator of the project ‘Action Plan for Green Budgeting in Punjab ‘supported by the Government of Punjab whose output was published in the form of a book. I have also been involved in a study for developing carbon intensity reduction pathways for Malaysia to estimate the energy consumption and emissions for the Industrial sector of Malaysia through quantitative analysis using statistical tools. I was also the Principle Investigator of the project on "Energy and Environment Goals" which aimed at examining the state of data availability at the global and national and sub-national level in the framework of the energy and environment related goal as proposed by the United Nations Open Working Group on Sustainable Development. Under this, worked on the state-wise indicators to capture the linkages between energy and environment. Drafted discussion papers on “Sustainable Energy ” and “Air Pollution and Health” to sensitize the policymakers about environmental sustainability and SDGs.I have got extensive publication record in the form of articles, books and journal papers.
