CurrentDuties and Responsibilities • Developing and implementing comprehensive Occupational health, safety, and environmental policies in accordance with legal and corporate guidelines.• Creating awareness among workforce and management on health and safety policy, legislation and standards.• Monitoring compliance with policies, performing site inspections, and preparing detailed reports on findings.• To ensure compliance of contractual requirements by Contractors pertaining to HSE.• Conducting Tool box talk, safety induction to employees.• Carrying out site HSE walkthrough along with Contractor personnel.• Identification of Hazards and resolving it with Field Engineers.• Issue of OSA (Observation on Safety Aspects) for Safety violations.• Formation of Site Safety Committee, conducting monthly meetings, preparation of agenda and minutes of meeting.• Reviewing of HSE Plan, Emergency Procedures and Action Plan, job safety analysis, HIRA, submitted by contractors.• Inspection of Labour colony and site for ensuring welfare measures provided to the workers.• Organizing celebration of National Safety Day, World Environment Day, fire safety week etc.• Leading emergency response initiatives and conducting investigations after incidents to establish causes and preventive measures.• Maintaining HSE Manuals, Procedure, Inspection report, first aid register and accident reports.• Scheduling and organizing of safety audits and follow up for closure of observations.
