I turn data into stories for diverse audiences! I love asking questions, and being part of a team tackling big projects. I am inspired by the possibilities of scientific inquiry, and the opportunities being created by incentives to promote the development of projects that span industries, and start with the goal of therapeutic translation in mind! I am an experienced and versatile scientist with a demonstrated history of working in academia and biotechnology, in cross-functional teams and collaborations. I have worked with diverse groups to support project goals and timelines. I am well versed in coalescing data from multiple sources into cohesive elements for use in scientific abstracts, presentations, publications and/or grant submissions. As lead technical writer for scientific publications and submissions, I have 16 peer-reviewed publications, and another in preparation for submission. I am interested in many aspects across the spectrum of human aging related processes, and how to promote healthy aging in those with environmental or genetic risk factors for neurodegenerative disease. I aspire to further develop writing and regulatory writing skills that support INDs and therapeutic applications.
