I coordinate the day-to-day operations, facilities management, administration and OH&S at three Neighbourhood and Senior Citizens Centres in the City of Melbourne. I manage a team of Centre Support Workers and contractors to ensure the delivery of high quality and accessible facilities and services for older people. I coordinate community access to the Centres through management of license and hire agreements, hiring policies and procedures. I manage stakeholders and build relationships to foster strong and effective partnerships to support community led initiatives.Through continuous improvements and capital works projects I ensure spaces remain Age and Dementia Friendly, and contribute to development and delivery of capacity building activities and community education for a range of diverse community groups and organisations.Key achievements:• Reviewed and updated hiring policies, procedures and reporting mechanisms resulting in more equitable access for community and greater transparency in application assessment processes.• Managed the return to onsite operations which included implementing changed operational and community hire model.• Lead the development of Covid safe plans and procedures and lead the re-activation at Centres after Covid-19 closures.• Innovated and adapted the Neighbourhood Activity Program in response to Covid-19 lockdowns which resulted in positive physical, mental and social outcomes for participants.

Key achievements:• Coordinated the 2018 Community Meals subsidy and Connected Community Grants Program which included providing administrative support for a range of diverse community groups.• Planned and coordinated more than 20 programs across Council for inclusion in the 2017 and 2018 Victorian Seniors Festival.• Completed a review of the Neighbourhood Activity Program in 2018 to inform future directions.• Developed and implemented a monitoring and evaluation framework for the Neighbourhood Activity Program to ensure programs respond to community need.• Planned and coordinated the Seniors Christmas Celebration in 2017 and 2018 at Melbourne Town Hall for over 400 older Melburnians.• Managed the Support for Carers Program between November 2018 – May 2019 and coordinated meetings, education and support for carers in the City of Melbourne.

Key achievements:• Conducted health consultations and fitness testing with new and existing members ensuring safe and effective exercise prescription for a broad demographic.• Designed and delivered innovative, inclusive and engaging group fitness classes which contributed to member retention.• Lead session planning, promotion and delivery of boot-camp programs for 3 years.
