I have proudly served the citizens of Ascension Parish for over 15 years. The mission of the Ascension Parish Office of Homeland Security is to serve the citizens of Ascension through effective planning for all disasters. The goal of our office is to save lives and to protect property through the coordination of an integrated emergency management system with all emergency response organizations, support services and volunteers. Ascension Parish Office of Homeland Security will be an advocate for greater community efforts, including educating the general public to mitigate and prepare for potential emergencies.

In January of 2019, Ascension Parish opened the Ascension Parish Citizen Service Center. This call center allows residents to contact one department and have work orders submitted immediately. Residents can track work orders through an interactive online map, receive updates through an online work order system or by calling the Citizen Service Center directly. One department and one phone number will give our residents one point of contact for all questions and service request needed.
