As Associate Director of Marketing and Communications, I am responsible for all direct marketing strategies for Studio Theatre’s earned revenue. I oversee the work of our graphics team to deliver assets for the entire organization, ensuring it meets brand guidelines and best practices. I manage three full-time individuals, including two educational apprenticeships and a marketing assistant position. I am responsible for all digital communication strategies, including social, digital advertising, website, and e-mail marketing.I develop social platform strategy for Studio’s productions, events, Conservatory classes, and ancillary programming, in both paid and organic mediums. I evaluate and develop Studio’s presence on emerging social platforms and oversee our community management practices.I strategize and manage digital advertising campaigns and spend, both in Google Display Network and with third party advertisers (including working with publishers pixels for retargeting and conversion campaigns). I manage Studio’s search advertising on the Google Network by optimizing Studio’s Google Grant. I drive overall strategy of website implementation to keep Studio’s website relevant and topical, as well as manage updates. I utilize Google Analytics and other data sources to inform web policy and management, and regularly report on web trends and sales patterns. I oversee execution and drive strategy of all e-communications for marketing purposes, including for our education department. I manage institutional segmentation for e-mail campaigns and am responsible for pulling lists and extractions of constituents in Mail2 and Tessitura with the help of our marketing assistant.In my time at Studio, my work has led to a 53% increase in revenue through web sales since fiscal year 2015 and our percentage of web sales has increased from 30% in 2014 to 70% of total sales today.
