At Bolduc Laboratory, I had the incredible opportunity to contribute to research aimed at supporting families and individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As part of an interdisciplinary team, I participated in the creation of an AI-powered search engine that bridges the gap between patients and essential ASD resources. The program stands out by effectively filtering out misinformation and "fake news" about treatments, causes, and prognoses of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ensuring accurate information reaches those in need.In a separate project, I conducted interviews with expert panellists, including independent researchers, national health agents, and pharmaceutical representatives from Canada, France, and the United States. Our discussions centred around rare disease clinical trials, focusing on conditions like Fragile X syndrome, to better understand efficacy and potential improvements. Moreover, as part of my research journey, I dedicated efforts to investigating the efficacy of online cognitive testing methods and ensuring data validity through regulatory processes. My involvement with the Bolduc Laboratory sparked my passion for research and using technology for positive change and I look forward to similar opportunities in the future. #AutismResearch #AIforHealthcare #ClinicalTrials #HealthTech
