With over 15 years of experience in the non-governmental sector, I have been dedicated to supporting ethnic communities in New Zealand. Throughout my career, I have taken on leadership roles in managing projects, teams, and partnerships with government agencies, non-profits, and private sector stakeholders. Currently, I oversee social enterprise initiatives at CNSST Foundation, focusing on sustainable funding models beyond traditional government sources. Our projects cover immigration services, vocational training, overseas internships, cultural exchanges, recruitment services, and international conferences, helping to create long-term impact in our communities.Additionally, I have been involved in research collaborations, co-authoring studies such as "The Impact of Perceived Discrimination on Health and Wellbeing Among Older Chinese Immigrants During the COVID-19 Pandemic" with Massey University, and conducting feasibility research with the Manukau Institute of Technology on the development of retirement villages for East Asian immigrants.My commitment to community development drives my work, and I am passionate about making a lasting difference through effective leadership, resource management, and strategic partnerships.
