Designed, implemented, and tracked a multi-year campaign for engaging 60+ affordable housing property owners and managers in the Housing Navigator’s housing search tool and statewide housing database. Communicated daily via email, phone, and Zoom with owner and renter users to ensure quality onboardings, identify and resolve user issues and data discrepancies, gather feedback, and ultimately build deep relationships and product adoption. Assisted with writing and communication projects, including writing and producing the quarterly Navigator newsletter, grant applications, website content, video explainers, social media posts, and Canva graphics.

Led the field operation for MA State Senator Becca Rausch’s successful reelection campaign (winning by a margin of 60%) in a competitive purple district. Coordinated over 400 active volunteers; recruited and supervised 15 campaign interns and 10 volunteer leaders; executed and adjusted the campaign's field plan and strategy; wrote digital campaign communications and phone and text banking scripts; organized and ran daily voter contact events and large volunteer recruitment events; and formed connections with community organizations and local elected officials to strengthen the campaign’s visibility and assist the candidate in safely connecting with her district during a pandemic.

Oversaw MassINC’s Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) Competition to promote TOD policy statewide. Developed a comprehensive system to organize, manage, and coordinate between 9 teams of over 50 graduate students, city government officials, and community organizers. Drafted and edited outreach materials, competition guidelines, frequent email updates, and meeting agendas; facilitated competition-related community engagement and planning meetings; and adjusted the spring competition celebration to an online format following COVID-19 and executed all aspects of the 125 person event.

Accepted to highly competitive leadership development and civic engagement training program. Attended weekly classes to learn about current social justice issues and effective advocacy methods and interned each week with my community partner (Groundwork Somerville and MassINC).

Conducted independent textual and interview-based research during two consecutive summers on religious engagement in the Israeli/Palestinian environmental peacebuilding movement and applied that research in my 130-page senior honors thesis. Received highest honors in thesis for an innovative research topic, exemplary data analysis, and strong writing style.

Taught a classroom of 2nd graders each Sunday. Planned lessons and activities to accommodate diverse learning styles and interests.

Led the Green Team (GT), a diverse group of 7 local youth, in farmwork, discussion, and reflection. Developed GT curriculum on environmental justice issues, college applications, and public speaking and piloted a GT Alumni Jobs Network: a program where GT alumni will be able to gain meaningful and substantial employment following high school or college graduation.

Engaged and mobilized religious congregations across California through weekly email summaries on relevant California climate policy, frequent telephone calls to IPL supporters, daily social media posts and a new IPL networking event. Additionally, prepared legislative summaries for and lobbied in IPL’s annual environmental lobby day in Sacramento.

Assisted Professor Justin Hollander in the Department of Urban and Environmental Planning with finding pictures and navigating copyright issues for his new book on shrinking cities.

Cared for campers’ (aged 11 to 16) physical, mental, and emotional health. Collaborated with other counselors and unit heads to write, plan, and implement fun, social justice oriented, and educational programs.
