• Responsible for timely, thorough and accurate billing and collection for the Cancer Center• Monitor, audit and maintain data integrity to ensure that all billing/reimbursement transactions are in compliance with requirements of state, federal agencies and third party reimbursement and contracts• Responsible in identifying and resolving insurance issues through effective appeals• Coordinate activities with physician offices and other ancillary departments• Work closely with manager to maintain correct information in Contract Manager• Work closely with Patient Access to ensure payment and insurance source• Seek necessary referral/authorization and coverage extensions to achieve account resolution
