I drive Student Life's multi-channel communications strategy including marketing campaigns and the execution of our core programs; My Life magazine and our mental health films. I am responsible for internal and external communications, reputation management and I have creative oversight on all of Student Life's output. I am responsible for all Editorial content for Student Life both in print and online.My role includes:- Overseeing a team of co-editors and facilitating regular editorial meetings- Setting the pages of each the publication - Overseeing the design of the publication - Liaising with new and current strategic and educational partners to include content for the publication - Setting deadlines for content and publication day- Creating and distributing writing and photography opportunities- Working with students to produce content; articles and photography - Signing off the final version of the publication for print and digital distribution- Liaising with the printing firm to print the publication- Organise the distribution of our publication to all collaborating settings in Suffolk, Norfolk and Kent

Co-Editor of Student Life publication. I work alongside a group of co-editors from a number of different educational settings in Suffolk, Norfolk and Kent. Part of my role is to create and circulate briefs to approx 1200 (and increasing) young people across 60+ educational settings.

I was elected by students at the University as the first woman President in 2016 and re-elected in 2017.I sat on several boards and committees at the University of Suffolk (then University Campus Suffolk) representing the student's voice.Boards included: The University of Suffolk Board of Directors, the University of Suffolk Students' Union Trustee Board and the University of Suffolk Student Experience Committee.Responsibilities included: making strategic and operational decisions on how the University and the Students' Union are governed and meet the needs of the students; informing and challenging policy, ensuring students' views were represented and heard; planning and marketing social events and activities to champion wellbeing and build a positive student culture; build relationships with local businesses to bring opportunities to students; to champion diversity and inclusivity.I also represented the University locally and nationally at conferences and via media interviews, for example with BBC Look East and ITV East Anglia.

The promotions team has been formed to improve communications regarding events to all UCS students. This will involve looking after media portfolio of posters, flyers, social media and other promotion work as and when required.The role is vital to the student experience at UCS as it will market various events put on by students, UCS, UCS Union, NUS and other community events. I am responsible for Communication and advertising to the student market both products and services offered.The promotions team will be line managed by the Marketing and Communications Manager of UCS Union.

I worked as part of a small team where I assisted in planning, organising and implementing events for and on behalf of Career Circus.

I volunteered on the organising panel for the Mid Essex Crohn's and Colitis group. Volunteering with Events and Fundraising and Marketing and Advertising.
