Maintains/manages in-house sample collections and samples databasesManages and builds relationships with IDEXX Reference Lab liaisonsEstablishes and sustains relationships with sample suppliers, including Key Opinion Leaders, veterinary schools/universities, veterinary hospitals, and shelters; ensures external sample suppliers are complying with IDEXX Animal Use & Care PolicyDevelops new innovations to improve workflow processes at study sites and collection sites to increase sample collection efficiency and sample numbersManages/maintains sample databases and sample search/data mining activitiesManages clinical trial activities, including field trials for product launch, sample acquisition for NPD validation and verification, medical affairs studies to support scientific publications and presentations, and lab testing and preparation of study materialsServes as liaison with Medical Affairs and Commercial Marketing to support activities involving sample acquisition and useCollaborates with technical lead(s) to assess study feasibility, manage study timelines and budget, communicate requirements to individuals involved in the study; conducts or participates in the informed consent process including interactions and discussions with research participants, coordinates participant tests and proceduresEnsures that clinical research and related activities are performed in compliance with set protocols, collection methods, and lab testing methodsDevelops and implements recruitment strategies for samples acquisition Writes Collection Protocols comprising study/collection, location, and testing requirements; establishes and organizes study files, including but not limited to, regulatory documentation, specific source documentation and other related materialsDevelops materials and tools necessary to appropriately train individuals involved in the conduct of the study around issues related to protocol requirements, schedule and execution of research plan

• Experience in verification and validation of immunoassay (TT4)• Strong communication skills both orally and written• Staff training and development across multiple lines of business• Proficient with MS Office and JMP along with Business Objects in the Lab Results universe• Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols and data analysis• Utilizes established methods and procedures and has modified current procedures to increase efficiency• Manage incoming clinical samples (this includes cataloguing, storage, inventory tracking, and managing relevant sample information).• Proficient in laboratory skills, including day to day and upkeep of laboratory notebook, pipetting, sample handling and collection, and proper waste procedure, MSDS and documentation regarding safety and operating procedures.• Familiarity of PCR methodology• Working understanding and experience with ELISA• Troubleshooting and problem solving using experience based judgment and statistical tools• Plan weekly and daily tasks which include Long Term Studies, instrument maintenance schedules and protocol testing and protocol preparations

Responsible for a floor of approximately 90 students with a co-RA in a building of approximately 380 students. Skilled in conflict mediation, policy enforcement, communication, program development, rotating night-time building management and public speaking. A member of the Annex team to oversee student dealing with medical issues. Along with being an active member of UMF Student Senate.
