I graduated with honors from Montana State University with a degree in Elementary Education in 2017. In the following year I worked as a long-term sub in Culbertson, Montana, and as a substitute teacher in Missoula, Montana before I returned to Glasgow, Montana. There I was hired as a High School Math Teacher on an OPI Internship where I taught Geometry, Foundations 1 & 2 (Pre-Algebra), and Math for Liberal Arts. While in Glasgow I coached the Varsity Cheer Team, Co-Advised Pep Club, and assisted in the school drama productions. After two years in Glasgow I made the move to Belgrade High School where I teach Integrated Math 2, Math 2B, and Math 3. The large majority of my professional teaching experience has been in a block schedule, which as a math teacher I truly enjoy, I find that this gives me enough time to adequately dive into a topic and spend time having my students discover ideas for themselves. The relationships I build with my peers and students are my favorite part of being a teacher. and I love being able to teach a subject that really excites and intrigues me.
