Hello there!I hold both a bachelor's and master's degree in Recreation Management with a focus on Community Recreation from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Additionally, I have earned the Certified Park & Recreation designation from the National Park and Recreation Association. Attaining this designation illustrates my knowledge and understanding of key concepts within parks and recreation, and a commitment to continued professional and personal development. My work background consists of planning and coordinating everything from small programs and services to large-scale events and festivals. These diverse experiences, coupled with my education and training, has allowed me to develop my problem-solving skills and my ability to remain adaptable - crucial attributes in any professional setting. My meticulous attention to detail and logistical coordination ensures seamless execution, providing partners with the best experience possible. In my current role as an Administrative Coordinator for the Education Philanthropy division at Ascendium Education Group, my event management expertise and organizational adeptness blends together perfectly. In addition to offering general support for scheduling and other administrative functions, I play a pivotal role in the planning and execution of the department's involvement in conferences, events, and convenings. Previously focused on fostering inclusion in recreation spaces and broadening access to activities, I am thrilled to contribute to Ascendium's focus on elevating opportunities for others in post-secondary education and workforce training. Outside of Ascendium, I serve as a part-time wedding coordinator.
