An example of this is evaluating piloted “Challenge Courses” that encourage interdisciplinary and experiential learning of students to set them apart in competitive job application stages as an “Edinburgh Student”, as well as preparing them for life after graduation. Offering advice and guidance on curriculum design and pathways, I am working alongside Earth Fellows (Edinburgh Earth Initiative) to deliver student enrichment pathway options for all undergraduate students to widen their learning experience beyond their discipline, with a particular focus on sustainability, the environment and social responsibility. As part of this, I am supporting the facilitation of workshop-based group discussions to summarise ideas on how to best implement student enrichment pathways into the current curriculum. Show less -

The aim of this was that it can be repeated annually to measure the outcomes of current decolonising work and to shape further decolonising efforts. I created a report, poster and PowerPoint presentation to communicate my survey data analysis to the Psychology Department, other decolonsising interns and the Science Faculty. The results were used by the Psychology Department to develop specific outputs such as a Decolonising Handbook for staff and students.I also wrote a 6500 word analysis and action plan with milestones across 5 years for staff of the Psychology Department which included research summaries, resources, suggestions and deadlines to support staff to evaluate and decolonise the curriculum and engage with the aim of promoting an inclusive learning environment.
