RDH Advocates started organically via parents and families seeking advice about special needs advocacy, therapeutic interventions, legal support and emotional support for their special needs child or teen. I assist parents and guardians navigate a school districts bureaucracy and make sure the District complies with special education law as peacefully as possible. I also help craft IEP/Individual Education Plans with appropriate data to create measurable baselines that ensure appropriate goals can be written in order to meet the child's unique needs. I assist with Transition Services from school to state via a ISP/Individual Service Plan. I triage and analysis Neuropsychological and other assessments to make them reader friendly to parents and families. Rates are sliding scale. No one is ever turned away due to economics. Call it a passion project; the main goal being helping parents and families navigate the Special Education process with less overwhelm, less intimidation and less helplessness that so many parents in our position deal with on a daily basis.
