Rachel is a graduate of the Forensic Mental Health Leadership and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Dual Master of Arts programs at Adler University. She graduated summa cum laude from Howard University in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. Rachel fulfilled her clinical internship at a non-profit community mental health clinic where she conducted therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.Rachel currently works as a therapist in community mental health. Her therapeutic approach encompasses Adlerian Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Rachel is always open to book recommendations about these theories! Her ultimate goals are to advocate for the mental health of marginalized youth, and to help strengthen family structures.
