When we moved to Paris I had to set up my own distribution channel as the expatriate market for English language books was huge so I really used this to my advantage and held phenomenal events with extremely high sales figures. As I had to work with many different Department Heads I developed great people skills and an ability to liaise especially when working within tight deadlines. I went on to qualify as an Registered Representative which meant I was able to deal stocks and shares. When my son was born I went back as a consultant working three days per week.
