My responsibility in this role covers ensuring that the data collected from NPD's Travel Retail bespoke client questionnaire is both quality and delivered to timescalesI am responsible for ensuring that questionnaires are fully programmable and user friendly, scripted correctly, translated correctly and implemented into fieldwork swiftly whilst ensuring these remain within budget. Once fieldwork is completed I assume the quality control role, and review the raw data ready to be passed to the team for analysis and reporting. As a Senior Research Consultant, I worked alongside Account Team Heads, Planners and Directors as well as run projects with other senior researchers. My role involved the following aspects:• Project management, capacity planning, quality control, logistical planning & cost controls• People management & mentoring – supporting, guiding, managing & encouraging the junior team• Qualitative project implementation – from design to field, moderation of groups/depths & workshops, analysis & client management• Quantitative project implementation – questionnaire design, quota, allocation, quality control, field management & DP • Interpretation/strategic direction through de-brief reports & presenting• New business development – supporting any new business meetings and proposal writing• Team briefings and directionI have worked across several industry sectors such as Financial, Retail and FMCG on several B2C qualitative and quantitative projects covering various aspects of research such as NPD testing, service, communications and product testing, brand development, and category segmentation. Currently I manage the quantitative research programme: Customer Tracker Studies, Staff & Agent Engagement Surveys, as well as ad-hoc studies. This involves providing direction and leadership to the Senior Research Executive.I have been at the forefront of driving research into Providents’ Real Personal Finance Brand. This covered online surveys amongst Sales and Support Staff as well as CATI based customer research.I have organised and conducted the qualitative research programme and established a Mystery Shopping programme. Competitor Research and Desk Research are also managed by me. I am also a Head Office Forum Representative which involves taking ideas/suggestions from my colleagues and pitching and discussing them with Directors.

Management of the Society’s 6,000 member research panel, as well as co-ordination, execution and evaluation of qualitative and quantitative research projects involving the panel. I grew the panel from 50 members to over 6,000. Management and analysis of the Society’s customer satisfaction survey and customer research regarding development of financial products for example offset mortgages.Assisted in the management of the Society’s Mystery Shopping programme and disseminating the findings to Regional Branch Managers.
