When I was hired I worked in my usual age group of Preschool and Pre-K, but I decided to branch out into Infant and Toddler classes as well to obtain the only EEC certifications I do not have which are the Teacher and Lead Teacher of Infant and Toddler. I also would like to be available as a substitute as a floater around my center to give me more experience in my new age group. My specialty is art instruction and using puppets to help children explain their feelings.

I started my work at Little Children Schoolhouse as an Assistant Caregiver. Within three years I had earned my Lead Teacher of Preschool, my Director I and Director II Credentials with my course work at Urban College of Boston and Fisher College of Boston. I have worked with children ages 3.8-6 years of age, from the U.S. and other countries including Japan, France, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and China, etc. I specialize in helping foreign students adapt to the changes from lingual and cultural barriers to getting used to the routine in the classroom. By learning some of my international friends' languages or by using translating tools, I can help them feel more at ease until they are ready to try out their English. I work with a group of six incredible co-teachers on our pre-k team. We all plan the curriculum together and we use it to enrich the children's learning experience. Last year came with the most challenges as we faced Covid-19 closure, and the return to the classroom with restrictions. We've had challenges in staffing and children ratios, but now we are vaccinated and slowly returning to pre-covid normality.

Grand Canyon Village, Arizona, United States

My second winter season at the Grand Canyon. I worked at the Yavapai Gift Shoppe (now under Delaware North) and at the El Tovar Gift Shop and Newsstand. I assisted 12,000 guests from all around the world with their experience at the Grand Canyon. I lived, worked, and saw the sights there in my spare time. I met many friends and started Random Fandom in the Canyon a club for employees to share and appreciate our unique interests including anime, boy bands, movies, games, and t.v. shows.

Yellowstone National Park

Providing excellent customer service and food Lake Yellowstone Hotel, the oldest hotel in the National Park System. I worked as a Pantry Cook, Steward, and Dishwashing Attendant for the Lake Hotel Dining Room. Then I saw and took an opportunity for promotion to work the Lake Hotel's Delicatessen, where I finished work until the end of the season.

New Venure Foundation is co-op of four different churches in the Community of Redlands that help run the Blessing Center which includes Covenant Family Church and Joseph's Storehouse. I work as a volunteer in the clothing bank, have recipient of their services including job resources. They follow the Matthew ch. 25 mandate to feed the hungry and clothe the naked as if we we're doing it for the Lord. I'm proud to be a part of organization that does so much to help people and prevent homelessness about 600 people weekly come through our doors.

Grand Canyon Village, Arizona, United States

Worked my first year at the Grand Canyon Village, at the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. i spent the majority of my season working at Maswick Cafeteria, which feeds a majority of the guests and employees at the Grand Canyon. I learned to work every station from soups, to burgers, but my favorite was the deli. I loved making sandwiches for many of our guests. It also where many Xanterran employees spend the Winter, so many of my co-workers was also there. I enjoyed making friends with my co-workers and going on outings on our time off. We are always also on hand to those lost guests who need directions. We have to know as much about the park as the Park Rangers do, including helping with directions, and enforcing wildlife safety protocols.

Yellowstone National Park, Wy

I worked with the retail team at Lake Yellowstone Hotel under the management of Caroline McClure, who taught me all the retail secrets about stocking, cleaning, displaying, and selling the products of local companies and craftspeople. I once sold a Turquoise necklace worth $750 dollars, but then I really love trying and learning about new products before suggesting them to customers. One of my fondest memories is Christmas in August (August 25th), when we doing the gift store decorating competition, we did Snow White and the Seven Dwarves and we won 2nd place. We had had Christmas Carols in the lobby and it actually did snow that night adding to the magic of that experience. The guests didn't quite know what was going on but it is a long-held tradition for seasonal employees to celebrate Christmas in August a month before we closed the Yellowstone for the Autumn.

A Non-Profit Support group for Foster Parents with Children, ages 0-18 affected by Fetal Alcohol and Drug Syndromes.These are a majority of children born a addicted and are in the foster care system of San Bernardino County. While the parents get the resources that they need and classes to help them with their foster kids. I'm part of the child care brigade that provides childcare for Members of MADA during bimonthly meetings. I myself have been a big Sister to over 5 foster children in my family home.

I worked as a volunteer and mural painter for my church's daycare. I helped with Preschool classes in the summer months when I was out of School. My stepmother was my first director and mentor and she helped with my first experience in the field of early childhood education.

I spent two years or four semesters as a Student Co-Teacher of Art for Ringling College of Art and Design's Community Outreach Program. This was an Art History and technique class geared for children ages 5-12 years of age. In our curriculum, each class was half an art history lesson and half an art's and crafts lesson. We worked from cave paintings to modern art each week. Some of my favorite lessons include cave painting with brushes, straws, and handprints on crumpled paper to simulating Michaelangelo's painting of the Sistine chapel on his back. with having them paint lying down under their tables. This was one of the first touchstones in my teaching career.

As a Production Intern, I worked in the scene shop under the direction of Bruce Price the Production Designer and I studied under the Jr. Scenic Painter Linda Zutell during the day. We Constructed and painted sets and properties for the three stages and nine repertory productions being produced that Spring. At night we assisted the theatre operations as ushers, valets for parking, stagehands, or the concession stands. I lived in Studio housing and was provided a weekly stipend for expenses.

I gathered a team of handpicked artists to illustrate the weekly collegiate newspaper. I increased the number of comic pages to two pages. I ensured the quality of cartoons and strips by providing guidelines which improved the quality by over 75%.
