Serving as the Managing Editor of Trinity University's student-run newspaper, I oversaw all aspects of the organization alongside the Editor-in-Chief. My responsibilities included hiring new staff members, conducting and preparing materials for training sessions, managing payroll information, and ensuring all content meets publication deadlines at a satisfactory standard. Other aspects of the position included expanding advertising efforts, conflict management, and implementing and upholding workplace policies. As Managing Editor, I also worked on personal projects such as creating a comprehensive staff handbook and sustainable systems for newspaper waste management.

As the editor for the Opinion section of the Trinitonian, Trinity University's student-run campus newspaper, I oversaw all organizational and editorial aspects of the Opinion section. I created and optimized systems to better facilitate communication among the Opinion staff members, including spreadsheets for tracking stories, their deadlines, and visual components, as well as new systems for providing feedback to encourage improvement in each staff member's writing skills.

Working as a front desk receptionist for Trinity University's English department, I served as the point of contact for visitors, prepared necessary materials for the department's professors, and assisted in creating course schedules for each semester.

At YTX Yoga, I checked guests into classes, performed cashier duties, and maintained a sanitary environment.

At Kumon, I worked as a tutor and an administrative assistant. As a tutor, I provided both one-on-one instruction with younger students and general instruction in the classroom as needed. My instruction ranged from teaching small children how to read and write, to helping older students with advanced math and grammar. As an administrative assistant, I graded student work and inputted data into Kumon's student report system, filed paperwork, and communicated with families over the phone and through email.
