Business Owner of Silverman Movements.I’m Rachel Silverman, a New Hampshire native who moved to Santa Monica in 2008. Many may know me as their local Santa Monica bartender. I started modeling in my early teens, and physical fitness and nutrition became a big priority. Later, in my years in the food and beverage industry, I could see that not only did people need to be able to relax, go out and enjoy the connection with others, but they also needed to balance that with paying attention to their overall wellness including proper exercise technique and nutritional health. That’s why I believe in functional fitness programming. There is no one size fits all method for every person. Everybody is different and every body deserves to move. That’s where personalization is put into practice. I’m dedicated to personalizing your outdoor sessions to make sure that you get what you need to make the right moves in your wellness journey. I believe that investing in yourself, getting outside, and working out is impactive not only on your physical but also your mental health. I also curate programs on the National Academy of Sports Medicine app so my clients have daily stretches and workout ideas for their days off from training with me. I’m currently enrolled at NASM for my certification in Nutrition and enrolled in the Herbal Academy program on Herbalism. Physical and mental wellness go hand in hand. Health is wealth!
