Served in the Royal Navy for 4 and a half years where I learnt how to work as a team. After leaving the Royal Navy due to starting a family, I went on to complete Childcare qualifications in Early years, supporting children aged 3-5. I have worked in Two British forces schools, in Italy and in Gibraltar. I also worked in a pre-school supporting 3-4-year olds in the UK. I am currently working as a Teaching Assistant in Year 1 at St Julians International School, in Portugal. I am currently a deputy manager of a nursery, where I have supported the staff to become a Forces friendly provider, which helps to support our Armed Forces families. I am computer literate, sharing information with our parents via social media platforms, engaging them with external support and local events.
