 Supervised and scheduled 10 – 16 staff members on 14 acre campus housing 75 children and adolescents Maintained compliance as determined by Devereux’s policies and procedures and the JCAHO. Met with parents and outside agencies to coordinate connection with parents and their children.  Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person.

As a Behavioral health Specialist, it was my duty to provide immediate crisis intervention, valuable support, information and referrals to customers in crisis. The BHS also work in partnership with an EMT to bridge the communication between customers, fire and police departments as well as maintain professional, accurate records of all their dispatched calls. The BHS is dispatched by the alarm room to assist individuals on a wide range of calls, including welfare checks, house fires, homicides, suicides and natural disasters. As well as grief support, information and referral in adult and pediatric death situation.
