I am a Sustainability and Resilience Consultant within the Strategic Consulting discipline at Tonkin + Taylor NZ. I am passionate about creating and sustaining a better world by authentically acting to improve the well-being of organisations, people and our anthropogenic and ecological environments.I am completing a Master of Science (Environmental Science) part-time through Auckland University of Technology to develop a greater understanding of the importance of our ecological systems and how we can protect them in the face of climate change. This pursuit is supported by my Bachelor of Business (Management) and Bachelor of Science (Environmental Sciences) qualifications. I was a co-founder of the award winning charity, One Bag at a Time, which created a social and environmental impact through advocacy, consultation, volunteering opportunities, and education. I have since been involved in various environmental and social programmes such as Young Sustainability Leaders, Future Proofers and AUT RUOK. Sustainability is a vital practice that engages whakawhanaungatanga, manaakitanga and kaitiakitanga to ensure the hauora of our communities and ecosystems.
