About Raegan Brown
I live by the mantra that I am enough and have everything I need to get to where I want to be. All that I embody, the tribe that I find support in, the challenges I face, and the things that make up the beauty of my identity are within my (She.LL). In showing the power of identity as a Black Queer Woman, my work exemplifies the power of Black self-image and the celebration of how we use our creative forms of expression. As an artist and multimedia creator, I have always had a passion for discovering new ways to challenge my technical and artistic skills, which has led to my exploration of virtual and augmented reality and cinematics, 3D development and Unreal Engine real-time production, and multimedia paintings and installations. I hope to use my passions for immersion and creative expression to push further physical and digital engagement with the Black community.I am a Fall 2019 graduate of North Carolina A&T State University and Spelman College, where I have been awarded a Dual Bachelor's of Science Degree in Computer Science and Computer Engineering. As a GEM Consortium Fellowship Scholar, I was awarded my Master's degree in Computer Science with a concentration in Multimedia and Creative Technologies at the University of Southern California. I am currently seeking professional experiences that leverage my current skill sets and allows me to expand into emerging areas in the entertainment industry such as 3d modeling, AR/VR, entertainment, real-time production, artistic/creative expression, motion capture animation and multimedia design creation.From experimental passion projects to commissioned work for clients, I’ve had the opportunity to create various projects for this dynamic industry.
