About Robert Everett

I like to code. I like Agile. I have a 20+ year career in software development. Right now I'm building my career as a front-end developer using modern frameworks and technologies such as React to help create rich, internet-based solutions with a strong customer focus.I've been developing software on the internet since day one and have grown together with it. The early days were raw HTML and clunky CGI scripts written in C and Perl until PHP opened up the possibilities of developing real applications. Next came the workhorse of the industry - server-rendered pages using Java. Fast, reliable, maintainable. But not the friendliest of user experiences. The emergence of AJAX and SOAP brought us dynamic experiences. Finally bringing us to the rich user experiences of today created with modern front-end JavaScript frameworks and powerful REST APIs. What will the next chapter be? I'm excited to find out!
