I am passionate about enabling effective government to deliver better social outcomes. To this end, I have spent almost twenty years’ in the public sector in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, spanning a range of roles and sectors. In this time, I have successfully delivered a broad portfolio of work including strategic and operational plans and frameworks, and organisational change and transformation initiatives including IT systems. I have also been a key contributor to national and international reports, and developed numerous briefings and in-depth assessments to support operational, executive and ministerial decision-making. Through a diverse career I’ve gained an excellent understanding of government risk and compliance environments, and developed particular strengths in applying strategic and conceptual thinking to identify opportunities and overcome problems.
