Project Coordinator
CurrentAs a Project Officer, I coordinated the UNODC activities in Pernambuco State (brazilian Northeast), managing a project budget of USD 300k, and impacting 184 cities. I mobilized institutional agents from the Northeast region, especially from the state of Pernambuco, regarding the UNODC Mandate, with emphasis on the crime and violence prevention agenda, raising around USD 1 million in new projects for UNODC. I also coordinated the implementation of the "Youth Ambassadors" program, which successfully trained 25 young leaders hailing from 17 different cities within the Pernambuco state, introducing new technical criteria rooted in science for the selection process, emphasizing ethnic, gender, and geographical diversity.I offered technical training for 29 NGO institutions selected through a public call issued by the Secretary of Policies for Violence and Drug Prevention in Pernambuco (SPVD). As result of Pernambuco's achievements, the technical team was invited to provide the same training across Cape Verde. This initiative included thematic workshops, guided walks, and the production of socio-community diagnostics regarding the dynamics of violence and crime, which pose obstacles to human security in the three prioritized territories.Among my responsibilities, I coordinated the administrative activities of the project, monitoring the physical-financial implementation (budget execution, payments, and financial reporting to donors), leading the process of delivering UNODC products to the UNDP and national partners and donors. I also took on the responsibility of overseeing the development of various studies and research initiatives, ensuring that they met the highest standards of quality and relevance.
Monitoring And Evaluation Specialist

I led the Development of the Logical Framework of Pernambuco's State Prevention Policy, through Participatory Methodology (Technical Workshops) involving all statal secretariats implied on the theme, facilitating the availability of more than USD 6 million;I also led the Development of Indicators Matrix for the State Pernambuco Prevention Policy, based on international M&E methodologies and focus on the SDGs;From a management pint of view, I keept relationship with national donnor and UN partner agencies in technical discussions and decision-making instances of state policy, including discussion with governor, secretaries of state and municipality, and technical teams; Among my responsibilities, I organized virtual and hybrid international events (involving staff at Vienna's office), designed Terms of Reference (ToR) for hiring suppliers, monitored the purchase and payment process, offered technical support for new projects, including conceptual design and budget scope, as well the mobilization of institutional agents in the Northeast about the mandate of Unodc, especially the agenda of prevention of crime and violence.
Director General
In my role as an Director General at OXY.SOCIAL, I have led diverse public policy projects across Brazil, utilizing a blend of quantitative and qualitative methodologies. My accomplishments have consistently centered on fostering social impact and aligning with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). I coordinated the first Census of Pernambuco's Legal Advocacy, which has since become a national benchmark. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in co-developing the Indicators for the "Cidade Transparente" Project in collaboration with the Ethos Institute, which has been implemented in 28 Brazilian cities. I also spearheaded the creation of a comprehensive Indicator Framework that will monitor the Recife 500-Year Plan and the 2030 agenda for the city. Additionally, I conducted a rigorous evaluation of the "Mais Vida nos Morros" and three new urban parks at Recife, promoting safer and more resilient communities, in partnership with ARIES – Recife Innovation and Strategy Agency. In collaboration with the Cancer Hospital of Pernambuco, which serves half of the state's oncology cases, I developed an institutional risk map, conducted organizational diagnostics, and assessed innovation maturity.
