As a Language Acquisition teacher at St. Nicholas, I have been planning, preparing and organizing learning considering the CEFR, the school's curriculum, ATLs and the Learner Profile, while keeping parents informed of their children's process, both through meetings and emails. I have also been participating in the admissions process by assessing new learners' English level to provide Class Teachers with a clearer understanding of their proficiency.My main goal as a language acquisition teacher is to welcome new students in a positive and inclusive environment, allowing them to make new connections while learning English. That requires individualized lesson plans that consider different levels of English, as well as different learning styles. Social-Emotional learning is consistently considered, and, with the help of parents, therapists, P.L. department and class teachers, I have created individualized plans that aim at breaking down learning barriers. - Bachelor in Portuguese/English - FMU, 2014.- Specialization Degree in English Language - Metodista, 2017.- CEFR C2 Certificate - The English Studio, Dublin, 2017. - CELTA Certificate - Cambridge, 2020 (Seven Idiomas).- Teaching Degree in English Language - FMU, 2023.
