In this role, I developed my skills as a Project Manager, overseeing the Network Operations Field team and their performance across a nationwide footprint. I was able to closely align myself with Verizon leadership, sharing reporting and findings with them from data analysis. As a Fios MDU Sales Account Manager, my role focused around creating and enhancing relationships with new and existing clients, representing more than $12.5MM in annual revenue for Verizon. I successfully brought on approximately 30 new clients during this position while maintaining nearly 1200 property accounts at our peak. My contributions include:✓Fostered, maintained, and improved relationships with Property Managers, Boards, and owners spanning 700-1200 properties at once, and successfully acquired 30 new properties. ✓Partnered with Construction and Engineering to structure design and installation plans, making any necessary modifications or enhancements and seeking out approvals. ✓Maintained accounts totaling more than $12.5MM in annual revenue by creating retention plans for existing customers, planning marketing events, promotions, and direct marketing campaigns.✓Created Marketing and Customer Education events to promote customer confidence in our services.✓Developed targeted marketing collateral for use in demographic or zip code-specific business development.

In stepping up from the Local Manager role, this position required me to stretch my management capabilities to a larger territory and larger team – this team involved 8 Local Managers and 175 Outside Plant Technicians. Here we covered a variety of services for Verizon including construction, installation, and maintenance of fiber networks. Part of my role involved mentoring Local Managers as they structured and guided their teams. My contributions include:✓Coached and mentored teams of up to 8 Local Managers and 175 Outside Plant Technicians, helping establish career paths, stepping in for any union-related grievances and technical support.✓Responsible for construction, installation, and maintenance of fiber networks in West Chester and Rockland County, NY to provide cable and broadband services.✓Structured performance agreements and held performance reviews for Local Managers including administration of scorecards, setting targets and goals and monitoring metrics.✓Implemented quality assurance measures to preserve customer service including a minimum of three QA checks per project and individualized performance monitoring for technicians.

My contributions include:✓Led teams for up to 40 projects at once, involving 25 Outside Plant Technicians, supporting the execution of the job request, assigning duties based on prints and manpower required.✓Planned and allocated resources for fiber splicing projects spanning $1k - $150k in total cost, providing a cable and broadband backbone to residential or multi-location business customers. ✓Held in-person refresher trainings for field teams, informing them of new processes or tools. ✓Prepared scorecards and performance agreements designed to promote accountability; included the monitoring of metrics, establishing goals and helping teams achieve career objectives in a union environment.

My contributions include:✓Placed, spliced, tested, and maintained copper and fiber networks for cable and broadband services. ✓Carried out projects and technical work in a variety of environments including manholes, cable vaults, and CEVs, as well as on poles and mid-span sections.✓Proud member of WTC 9-11 Restoration Team from 9/13/01 – 9/12/02.
