Seasoned communications and journalism expert with over 22 years of experience, including seven years as a TV reporter and producer at Globo TV network, ten years as a senior advisor to the Mayor of Rio de Janeiro (during which time I oversaw communications for the City of Rio during Rio+20, the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics), and another five years as a public relations professional at the largest PR agency in Latin America, FSB Comunicação, where I took on different roles, including partner and executive director of communications.I also served as head of content at Bússola, a new digital news platform on economics, business, and politics, created by FSB and hosted by Exame's website - the most influential financial and business magazine in Brazil. For nearly three years, I hosted weekly webinars and podcasts on politics and economics on the platform.I currently work as a strategic communications consultant, specializing in communications related to politics, public policy and international relations. My main client is the City Hall of Rio de Janeiro, where I have been serving as a special consultant to Mayor Eduardo Paes over the past three years.Master of Research Degree in History, Politics and International Relations at the School of History and Social Sciences (CPDOC) of the Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV). My research topic is "The role of non-state actors, especially cities, in global climate governance". I graduated in Journalism from Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (2003), completed a MBA in International Relations and Affairs from Fundação Getulio Vargas (2016), and was a visiting scholar at the Institute of Latin American Studies of Columbia University in New York City (2013).Most importantly, I am a borderless globetrotter: 60 countries and counting.
