I was responsible for configuration, fault, performance and security management activities, with on call rotation – for its backbone (OSPFv2/v3, LDP, iBGP), external peerings (eBGP), access networks and last-mile circuits. Regarding last-mile access networks, I was often called upon helping Tier 1 NOCs perform more complex troubleshooting tasks, which could include end-to-end testing, with tools ranging from Wireshark/tcpdump and iperf, for either TCP or UDP verifications. A How-to document was eventually crafted, aiming to standardise all Tier 1 teams with respect to last-mile performance assessment and monitoring.I have performed outsourcing management of all Tier 1 NOCs – scheduled monthly calls and generating reports that led to ticket closing time awareness and its later reduction.Moreover, I have issued a series of presentations, for the company’s own events, national or international conferences. Also within knowledge management, I devised internal standards, related to Project management and technical procedures.For three months, I was the acting manager, during a maternity leave. I also did contract management activities, for networking gear support for one year.
