I am a PhD student in Language, Cognition and Neurosciences at Universidade Católica Portuguesa, with a particular interest in the fields of emotions, language, and music. I hold a degree in psychology and a master degree in neuropsychology and have contributed to publications in esteemed scientific journals such as Nature Human Behavior and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. In addition, I have co-authored a manual on Group Singing Interventions with Older Adults.My doctoral research revolves around emotional granularity, language, and emotional responses to music, as I explore the possible relationships between these domains. Besides my academic pursuits, I am also a seasoned musician with significant experience as an instrumentalist and composer.
