Capacity management - my role is to spot any infrastructure issues before they appear. I'm continually monitoring our devices (servers, firewalls, routers, switches) for the utilization of their components. I'm performing analysis, monitoring problems, and making recommendations for upgrades. At the moment, I'm watching over almost a hundred devices.*Security operations point of contact - I'm responsible for almost a hundred critical devices from a security point of view. My role is to make sure that our devices are compliant with strict security standards. I'm monitoring our infrastructure for any CVEs, and I manage their remediation process.*Asset management - Under my scope, there are thousands of assets (workstations, laptops, mobile phones, network devices, servers) that I keep care of. I'm overseeing the processes related to assets - disposal, procurement. A big part of this task is to make sure that all of our devices are compliant with security standards.*Process automation - I'm involved in the automation of repetitive tasks. Both from the bigger perspective, like process design, and also from the development point of view - I create tools that help others with their jobs, making it faster and with less chance of making a mistake.*Projects deployment - I'm responsible for deploying multiple new projects in our location, including new technology standards.
