As part of the European project KiNESIS - KNowledgE alliance for Social Innovation in Shrinking villages, I developed an aspect-based sentiment analysis platform capable of assessing satisfaction indices related to tourist sites and cultural attractions.The platform leverages natural language processing techniques to analyze online reviews and comments, extracting valuable insights about specific aspects of the visited locations, such as infrastructure, amenities, and overall experience. By employing sentiment analysis algorithms, the platform can quantify the sentiment expressed towards these aspects, enabling the identification of areas for improvement and highlighting the strengths that contribute to visitor satisfaction.This tool aims to support decision-making processes for local authorities, tourism boards, and cultural heritage organizations, providing data-driven recommendations to enhance the appeal and sustainability of shrinking villages and their attractions.

PhD Project I defended a thesis titled "Methods of Computational Linguistics for Preventing Psychological Distress", which presents an investigation into Natural Language Processing models capable of analyzing textual data from social media with the aim of recognizing linguistic and stylistic features useful for classifying the severity associated with depressive symptoms and the overall level of depression.These models, built from the analysis of textual data from Reddit users who had previously completed the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) psychometric questionnaire, are capable of assessing every two weeks the BDI dimensions (cognitive-affective and physiological symptoms) for the patients.

Collecting data, analysing, drawing meaningful interpretation and reporting of the research findings about:1 - Modelling of the impacts of EVs on the electricity grid in cities.2 - Brain Drain and Social Media: retrieve trends, main factors and linguistic information on social media about brain drain flows.
