I am excited to pursue a career in engineering problem-solving, specifically in the medical industry. I hope to apply both creativity and compassion in order to work on engineering challenges facing our world today. Throughout my years as a College of Engineering student at Harding University, I have gained both practical and theoretical skills that I plan on building upon in future projects. Some of my most valuable academic experiences from the past four years include:- Engineering design projects, from the idea generation stage to the prototype build stage- Foundational concepts, such as mechanical engineering principles, computer programming, human anatomy and biological processes, experimentation design & procedure testing, and written & oral communication.- Internships in the areas of Bioinformatics (OU-Tulsa) and Biomedical Engineering research (University of Arkansas INBRE Fellow)
