Having completed 29 years on planet earth, I realised that a single defined career path wasn’t enough to discover myself. Sometimes, we decide to become something but end up being in a situation we wouldn’t have ever thought, and we would possibly enjoy more than anything else. I believe it’s a range of experiences that completes a person. I am a firm believer of “try, test fail and learn” rather than “be safe, no risk, stick to the plan and implement irrespective”. I started my career as a business development manager in my family run business , but after a few years in it I realised that it is not what I really want to do or what excites me. So, very soon I switched to dawning the hat of an entrepreneur and started the working on an e-retail concept of selling packed herbs & spices for the full range of Biryani masala and also curated puja boxes specifically targeted for young home makers and international markets. Having started this initiative I also discovered that I might want to explore artistic side of me, and soon I shifted to mumbai to explore the world in front of the camera. After a few months of acting classes and another few months of confusion and contemplation on how to go about being an artist, I realised I was struggling an age old phenomenon of “how to enter the entertainment industry” With this experience I was able to tap into the emotional quotient of artists and other members working in the industry, which led to the idea to ‘want to’ solve an issue with is quite relevant in the industry but hasn’t been voiced out yet, “how do I become an actor/director/producer/etc” what is the real process, if at all there is oneThis was out of my personal experience and the need to make THE change for everyone.
